Red Hat Partners with Correlsense

OpenShift customers and community will get access to SharePath, the Correlsense application performance management solution

Correlsense, a Massachusetts application management and IT monitoring ISV, is partnering with Red Hat around OpenShift, Red Hat's Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).

OpenShift customers and community will get access to SharePath, the Correlsense application performance management solution. Using OpenShift and SharePath together, developers and IT professionals should be able to manage applications from development through testing, deployment and production.

With SharePath, IT operations and development can use one tool to manage the performance of their applications after deployment.

SharePath is supposed to trace 100% of user transactions across multiple tiers and stacks, auto-detect interdependencies, and correlate the performance data on a single dashboard in real-time.

Besides its transaction tracing and analytical capabilities, SharePath offers deep code-level diagnostics into Java and .NET apps. This allows both IT operations and developers to isolate code-related issues in production.

SharePath is available immediately to the OpenShift community and doesn't require deep code-level instrumentation. Product implementation can be done without introducing any performance overhead to the user's environment.

"Enterprises have different needs for cloud and are struggling to get existing monitoring tools to cope with the dynamic nature of PaaS," Correlsense EVP of strategy and business development Oren Elias said. "We feel confident that with OpenShift and SharePath working together enterprises will have the means to succeed in PaaS environments."

Founded in 2005 Correlsense claims SharePath customers include some of the world's largest financial, telecom and retail firms.
